LETTERS
Metal Letters are cut from various metals and other materials and multiple finishes and oxidations are applied to create different looks. Wood letters can make an interesting effect as flat cut letters or beautiful prismatic letters, and are gold leafed for an exquisite, upscale look. Royce Signworks produces high-quality dimensional letters that are cut from a variety of materials such as Brass, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, Bronze, Wood, Acrylic or Glass.

Metal letters have a wide range of finishes:

Brushed Finish, Satin Finish, Mirror Polished Finish, Orbital Finish, Sanded, Oxidized, Anodized, and painted. Letters come in thickness of 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″. Dimensional fabricated letters, such as reverse channel letters can be fabricated from 1″ to 6″ in depth.
High-Density Polyurethane (HDU)
A very stable and impervious material, HDU carves beautifully and holds paint longer than other materials. High-Density Urethane can stand up to all types of weather conditions, making it ideal for exterior usage. HDU is our recommended product for this type of sign as it is much more durable than other materials.
PVC Plastics and More
PVC is a durable, lightweight material. It does not need paint as it comes in standard colors and it is great for simple designs that do not require custom colors and painting, and it also withstands all types of weather. If you are looking for a cheaper solution, this might be the solution for you
Old-Fashioned Carved Wood
Beautifully carved signs can be achieved with wood, and indeed it has for many years. However, wood is susceptible to splitting, cracking or warping after installation due to the ravages of the weather. Rain, heat, cold, moisture, wind etc. can play havoc with wood signs. We will do our best to protect your wood carved sign from the elements but for outdoor signs we recommend HDU or at the very least, PVC for your sign.
